Purpose of job:
To contribute to the smooth running of the British Council’s teaching and exams operations in Mozambique by leading on the delivery of high quality customer service that is in line with corporate standards and polices.The postholder will be required to ensure that any related administrative, financial and marketing activities are delivered to a high standard. As well as managing the customer service team, there will also be preparation for and delivery of a number of change projects scheduled for delivery in 2017.
Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:
This post will oversee all administrative, marketing and financial duties related to Maputo Teaching Centre. Additionally, the post holder is expected to manage the Customer Services team and will be accountable for the delivery of high quality customer services to customers of the Teaching Centre, our examinations services, and all other customers who have an interest in interacting with the British Council. The post manages a team of full time Customer Services staff including temporary staff
