-Commercial, Operational and Technical management in relation to the Account Logistics business in order to maintain and grow the Client project leadership position.
-Responsible for the Logistics Account Management with overall control and responsibility over the sections of Transportation, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Site Maintenance Communication.
-A strong focus on building local capacity and taking the role of coordinator will be required to fit within the department’s current strategy.
-Co-ordinate processes to ensure customer satisfaction. An awareness of and strategic response to external influences, such as legislation, is vital.
-Involves providing solution regarding to Transportation, Inventory Control (WMS Systems), Warehousing (Planning & Design) and ensuring Structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods and materials to the Customer.
-Plays a key part in forecasting increasingly complex systems of Delivery Times & Methods, Transport & Handling Costs and Performance Evaluation.
-Overview & Control Customer invoicing methodology and supervise raw financial information for the cleint Accounting team in order to provide accurate and on time information to the customer.
-Study and Implement new Logistics Opportunities

-Conceptualize and manage the establishment, set-up and maintenance of logistics standards, systems, policies and procedures, guidelines and documentation, thereby ensuring consistency of logistics infrastructure development and operation performance as per customer standards.
-Manage the development of logistical solutions for ELC’ and ensure commitments are delivered within acceptable cost and margin parameters. Conduct internal and external technical presentations.
-Benchmarks and standardizes work processes with the best logistics practices to ensure network standards are world’s best.
-Identify and implement improvement (both unique & standard) in logistics process, including workflow, staffing, handling methods and equipment, thereby increasing productivity and reducing unit cost.
-Provide internal training in order to expand the expertise and identify gaps through regular skills assessment.
-Continuously expand the & Customer knowledge, commercial awareness, own skills and abilities in order to provide the highest possible Logistics standards.
-Provide shipment visibility at all levels through your team ensuring that even though shipments moving off net, we provide the customer with the same standard of traceability on their key shipments.
-Develop customer solutions for all noncore service requirements.
-Take full accountability for the End to End Logistics services and build mechanisms in order to manage the service effectiveness provided through 3rd party suppliers, maintain profit margins while identifying new opportunities.
-Pro actively seek out new innovative and specialized technology solutions to enhance the supply chain processes.
-Recruit, train, coach, manage, motivate and evaluate the performance of team members to gain commitment so they focus their efforts on achieving the set targets and objectives.
-Prepare timely and accurate reports as required by the Customer’ Supply Chain Management for the purposes of evaluating performance and develop strategies.
-Provide a consultancy service to the customer to support and secure sound business opportunities.
-Develop KPI reports that capture full visibility on transit, performance and productivity.
-Provide strong leadership to ensure agreed strategies and goals are communicated and effectively implemented. Support continuous improvement, by using customer data to focus resources on improving performance.
Degree in business management or related areas
experience in the express industry is advantage
Proven track record in growing a business
Fluent in Portuguese and English
