Coca – Cola Beverages Africa has an exciting vacancy of Warehouse Team Leader at one of our Mozambique Bottlers – Matola-Gare Plant that is the leading producer of various flavors in Mozambique for the last 25 years. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager. The incumbent will be responsible to manage the execution of the operational requirements of the warehouse in support of the logistics strategy in an efficient and cost effective manner so that service excellence to other departments and the customer can be ensured.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

– Manage the Operational team in the execution of all inbound and outbound movement, stock management and inventory accuracy;
– Drive good product quality, managing effective and accurate Production Interface;
– Leverage information systems to drive achievement of Operational Key Performance Indicators;
– Manage the effective execution of system transactions and perform end-of shift reconciliations
– Compliance to governance controls in all areas within the team, managing all tasks within the standards of excellent housekeeping;

Skills, Experience & Education


– Honors Degree at Business Management, Finance or Supply Chain Diploma or equivalent;
– 3-5 years warehousing and/ or logistics experience in an FMCG environment;
– Computer literacy and knowledge of SAP and Kronos would be advantageous;
– Sound knowledge of all Warehouse Processes (and accountable parties) and understanding of inter-relationships between processes ;
– Effective team management and ability to make immediate decisions based on information gathering, knowledge of warehouse processes, and an understanding of the desired outcome;
– Strong customer service orientation with particular focus on service to the Driver Creates an environment of dignity and respect;
– Highly self-motivated, self-disciplined and demonstrates ethical behavior;
– Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
