
Role purpose:
To manage and coordinate Network Management Centre. To create and implement strategy for tooling and network supervision. Integration alignment with Vodacom and Vodafone operating companies to ensure consistency of NOC supervision.
To ensure that VM management is always appraised of network status 24x7x365
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Focal Point for African Network Operations Center management
- Supervision of Fault Management functions across Network and Billing and IT Network elements
- OSS and central tooling
- Workforce Management of field Maintenance contractors
- Engagement and support across technology on escalations on fact based KPIs.
- Ensuring timely and accurate Technology KPIs
Key performance indicators:
- Availability (Network and IT/Billing)
- Outsource ANOC SLA management
- Reporting timeliness and accuracy
- Support Tools Performance (Probing/Sharepoint/ Optima)

- Engagement with Engineering teams VSA NOC L1/2/3 Support teams
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Engineering degree or similar
- 5 Years plus managing a NOC environment
- IT Skills and background
- Call Centre experience advantageous
Risk management:
Preference will be given to Mozambican
Leadership role require good to excellent English and Portuguese language skills
Good understanding of Mozambique context, regional dynamics
