
Role purpose: Lead M-Pesa Enterprise – Segment Team. Drive revenue growth and VB base penetration in a mature market. Manage the relationship with customers and partners to monetize the partnerships and increase the number of transactions on existing use cases and to implement creative new use cases.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Lead, motivate, attract and develop VB Account Managers team on Large Enterprise Segment;
• Acquire business customers and identify new business opportunities and Seize upselling and cross selling opportunities within the existing base;
• Seize upselling and cross selling opportunities within the existing base;
• Set and agree the targets for LE Enterprise Team and ensure the sales strategy, articulate opportunities and threats in order to ensure that agreed targets are met;
• Manage business support team and ensure customers are responded according to SLA’s.
• Drive customer satisfaction index on enterprise portfolio.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
• Excellent stakeholder and engagement skills;
• Previous experience in a Sales environment, preferably with enterprises
• Ability with business process and efficiency management
• Creative thinker who is able to drive growth needed in a highly competitive market;
• Accurate reporting skills•
Must have technical / professional qualifications
• Academic qualifications in Sales & Marketing, Management or Commercial areas;
• Understanding of IT
• Driver’s licence.
