Description

Role purpose: This role aims to be a member of the digital product development team that ensures each product delivers maximum value to the user. Typically, he or she has several key roles and responsibilities that span everything from business strategy to product design.

 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Responsible for end-to-end digital product innovation and launch, collaborating with service partners and customers, creating a roadmap, as well as participating in the full development cycle of digital solutions;
• Work in an Agile environment (cross-functional and third party), continuously review business needs, define user stories, priorities, deliverables and identify opportunities and risks;
• Prioritize and manage the sprint backlog, balancing stakeholder requirements and product performance reporting;
• Define and execute the go-to-market plan, working to ensure product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful;
• Ensure product support activities are done, interacting with all business and technology partners;

 

Core competencies, knowledge and experience
• SDLC experience (Agile and Waterfall are an advantage);
• Product and Project management experience;
• Strong communication, including written and presentations, active listening, relationship building;
• Analytical and Problem solving skills;
• Customer Experience & User support.

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications
• Degree in Computer Science (or related degree or experience) or equivalent experience required;
• 2+ Experience as Product Owner, Product Manager;
• GSM knowledge (desirable);
• Safe P.O & Product Management Certification (desirable);
• Product Management certification is a plus.

 

Key performance indicators
• % Customer satisfaction;
• % Revenue growth, retention and market penetration of products;
• Ability to meet deadline and or anticipate delays and keep backlog up to date (desirable depth of 3 sprints).
