
Short Description/ Purpose of Job
To lead Local Content in Mozambique and will be the primary point of accountability for delivering on Sasol’s Local Content strategy, plans and commitments.
Recruitment Description/ Key Accountabilities
- Defining and driving the local content strategy for Mozambique
- Delivering on Sasol’s Local Content Plans
- Defining and driving local content targets. Setting of annual targets
- To define and manage Enterprise Supplier Development interventions (identify gaps, select beneficiaries, monitor progress and performance)
- To define and manage a development fund
- Create centre of excellence for Mozambique Local Content in Sasol
- Reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis on Sasol’s performance
- Developing policies, processes and work instructions supporting the strategy and ensure adherence thereof
- To engage and manage stakeholders (regulators, partners, other operators, etc)
- To interface and align with Sasol Group Procurement on Local Content policies, strategies or approaches
- To provide inputs into sourcing strategies
- To define Local Content requirements in scopes of work
- To carry out Local Content tender evaluations
- To support contract holders in post award contract management activities
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Relevant Bachelor degree with a minimum of 11 years applicable experience
